Not they will have the power (of) the intercession except (he) who has taken from the Most Gracious a covenant.
View 82 More Translations ↓[on that Day] none will have [the benefit of] intercession unless he has [in his lifetime] entered into a bond with the Most Gracious
having no power of intercession, save those who have taken with the All-merciful covenant
None shall have the power of intercession, but such a one as has received permission (or promise) from (God) Most Gracious
لَّا يَمْلِكُونَ ٱلشَّفَـٰعَةَ إِلَّا مَنِ ٱتَّخَذَ عِندَ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ عَهْدًۭا ٨٧
lā yamlikūna l-shafāʿata illā mani ittakhadha ʿinda l-raḥmāni ʿahda
